Glastonbury 22
|
No thread yet? Site dogs...
First one for 3 years, lots of hype about the extra special post Covid atmosphere. Many *GLASTONBURY MOMENTS* coming up on the Beeb. Should be good as ever though. McCartney, Sleaford Mods, Elbow, Primal Scream, Fleetwood Mac, Jesus & Mary Chain, Metronomy, Little Dragon, Groove Armada, Undertones, Marshall Jefferson, First Aid Kid & The Waterboys the Standouts in the line up for me.
Enjoy...

Robert Plant,Sam Fender and the Jesus and Mary chain have been very good, looking frward to the Waterboys.
I saw them at Glastonbury in 1986. And they were superb.

The Billie Eilish performance is about as perfect as you can get pop music

I'm trying hard to be a fat cunt who hates everybody but it just doesn't come to me. I just despise boring cunts with o imagination.

Branded, I’m 54 and I still have plenty of imagination.
The reason why I’m not all that enamoured from what I’m watching is that it is tepid shit that I would have despised at the age of 9, 19, 29, 39, 49, etc etc

She is shit and no stage presence. Sings about 25% and the other 75% is backing tracks Another one of those artists that People follow like sheep.
Great for insomnia. I've almost dosed off in the chair already.

If juke boxes still exist in 50 years time, jJilted John would have remained on juke boxes longer than Billie Eilish, given their respective time scales.
